V-Cred is a Malaysian data analytics startup focused on developing AI for specialists operating in enterprises. Founded in November 2022 from the PETRONAS Innovation Garage accelerator program, V-Cred aims to disrupt knowledge discovery technologies. The startup aims to provide professionals such as engineers with beneficial AI solutions boosting their effectiveness, accuracy, and performance. With a vision to bring expertise to a new level, V-Cred focuses on developing solutions that address the tasks linked with knowledge processing.
The company mainly operates in the engineering application sector and more specifically in the fields of equipment maintenance, e.g., determination of cause for equipment failure. More specifically, V-Cred’s solutions help in offering pre-failure and post-failure tools that help in the analysis of the company. They use AI in areas such as increasing equipment dependability for longer-lasting production by using predictive maintenance. They also use forensic resolution to provide cause determination after equipment failures. Having such capabilities, V-Cred’s offerings are essential for industries with high dependency on machinery and equipment.
In detail, V-Cred’s key solution is an AI assistant that deals with considering and solving intricate issues that require much information. Since its creation, V-Cred has received acknowledgements and achievements in different hackathons and startup challenge events. On the 29th of January 2023, the company secured second place at the RHB ASEAN Hackathon, outcompeting 91 other teams. In March 2023, V-Cred was one of the top five favorites for PING Demo Day, with the incorporation of V-Cred Sdn. Bhd.
Moving forward, the growth of V-Cred is ready for expansion with the joining of MRANTI AI Sandbox in April 2024 and the Nvidia Inception Programme that solidify the company’s further development in AI solutions.
